Chelsea are reportedly close to making their first signing of the summer transfer window. According to Centro Suono Sport, the Blues have agreed on a package worth €73m for Roma goalkeeper Alisson and the Brazilian is likely to replace Thibaut Courtois as their number one next term.
Courtois has been associated with a potential move to Real Madrid over the past few months and it is suggested that the Belgian could head through the exit door this summer as he is keen to get close to his children.
As per Centro Suono Sport, Antonio Conte’s side are said to have agreed on an initial €65m fee for Alisson with a further €8m in add-ons and the Brazilian has already been offered a contract worth €5.5m-a-year.
Alisson has been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Real Madrid in recent weeks but the Blues seem to have won the race after agreeing to match the Giallorossi’s asking price.
The Brazilian is presently with his nation at the World Cup where he has kept three clean sheets, and he is set to face Thibaut Courtois’ Belgium in the quarter-final stage of the tournament on Friday night.
