Manchester United attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan has reportedly arrived in the English capital to finalise his proposed move to Arsenal. The deal will involve Alexis Sanchez joining the Old Trafford outfit in a straight swap agreement.

Mkhitaryan’s decision to join the Gunners had been holding up the potential swap from going through, but it now appears certain that he will undergo the necessary formalities ahead of his switch in the coming days.
The ex-Dortmund ace won’t feature in the League Cup semi-final as he remains ineligible, and he may have to wait for the Swansea City game at the end of the month to make his debut.
Arsene Wenger had kept a close watch on the Armenian during his time at BvB, and it will be interesting to see where he will play for the side, given he has found most success from the number 10 position at United.
